THIS BLOG HAS MOVED!

…out with the old

I know I have been seriously MIA, but I have a GOOD excuse I have been working very hard on those big changes I talked about and I am finally ready to let you all in on it!!!!

After realizing that my life was getting too crazy to keep up with, I decided that one thing I could do to make life a little easier and take my photography business to the next level all at the same time would be to merge my blogs into a more professional photography blog where I can post business stuff and of course continue to keep you all updated on the daily happenings in the Nugent household :)

I have to say I am a little sad to let go of “I’m not good with titles”. I really feel like starting this blog was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I’m apologizing right now cause I am about to get a little cheesy for a minute. I honestly think that having this blog helped me get through some tough times during the early stages of Jonas’ diagnosis. I also really believe that it unknowingly became a creative outlet for me and helped me to discover a little more about who I am, what I like and even a little bit about where I’m going. If you are reading this and don’t blog I would encourage you to give it a shot because I think you would be surprised of what may come from doing so…

I know this sounds like I’ve decided to quit blogging and that’s not true but for some reason I’m just feeling very sentimental and I felt like I needed to give this blog a proper goodbye :)

So GOODBYE “I’m not good with titles”, I will miss you :(

HELLO Frances Street Photography!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah forgot to mention that I not only have a new blog but I also have a new name :) I’ve been wanting to change the name and I thought this was the perfect time to do it!

Fall Festival

Yesterday we got a chance to go to a fall festival and although it was still HOT out, Jonas had a great time and of course I have some pics to show you. Unfortunately, I won’t be posting a meal plan cause we were super busy this weekend and this week is going to be CRAZY. I am working the next couple of days and then I will be going on 2 field trips with Jonas’ school so stay tuned for more on that. I have also been spending most of my nights working on those big changes I talked about so lots of exciting stuff on the horizon…

Anyway here are some pics from the fall festival..

fall-1Petting a little bunny :)

fall-2This is Levi, doesn’t it look like he is eating it like an apple :)

fall-4Jonas’ first time in a bounce house (he was always freaked out by them) he has recently discovered jumping and he is LOVING it! I’m thinking trampoline for Christmas…

fall-3He cried when we took him away from this horse he was having so much fun petting him.

This is a shout out.

A shout out to Starfall.com.  Jonas LOVES this website. You know that cheesy commercial where they say kid tested mother approved, well that’s what this reminds me of. The website is SO great for learning ABC’s, reading, spelling etc. and Jonas can’t get enough of it…it’s a win win situation :)

Busy. Busy.

Life is so busy these days! I honestly thought that once Jonas started school that I would have some free time and I did for about a week. I have found that working full-time, managing a photography business on the side, keeping up with mommy duties, volunteering at Jonas’ school, etc. etc. etc. has proven to be very time consuming and somewhat overwhelming. I feel like I need to let go of some things or at least do some sort of restructuring. Anyway, what I am getting at is there are some changes on the horizon some of which will have to do with this blog. Gasp! Don’t worry I am not going to quit blogging, that would be CRAZY, especially since my readers are up in the double digits these days :) But just be on the lookout for some big changes coming soon…

…in the meantime checkout these pics of my not so little anymore nephew Levi. I posted his newborn pics awhile back here and here. He will be 9 months on the 25th! Time flies…
