Jonas is 3!!!!

I have to apologize, I wasn’t very good this year about getting pics! I know, shame on me but it was a very low key get together so I didn’t feel to inspired to grab the camera, sorry Anyway here are a couple, some are courtesy of my sister-in-law…thanks Carla!

My baby is turning 3 today! I can’t believe it! I love him so much and seriously wish that I could freeze time because I just know that each day brings me a little closer to the day that he won’t let me give him a million kisses and hugs everyday and that thought KILLS ME!!!! We are having a little family get together today to celebrate so there will be more pictures to follow….

My cute little nephew Levi decided to show up a week early last night! He is a healthy little 8 pounder! We stopped by the hospital this afternoon for a quick visit so Jonas could meet his new cousin!!!

So yesterday was my Aunt Karen’s birthday and I wanted to wish her a happy birthday and post this GREAT photo she sent me of her and all of her beautiful grandkids:

30! woo hoo!!

I’m just about to get some sleep after a fun day of getting older! I couldn’t go to bed without filling you all in on today’s events! I starting the morning by getting to sleep in while my wonderful hubby got up with Jonas. He also made me eggs and toast…thanks sweetie. Then my good friend Katie took me to lunch for some yummy CR Chicks! (thanks friend) After lunch I actually got some studying in during Jonas’ nap (I know I’m lame) but I have an exam on Tuesday! Tonight I went to dinner with the fam at Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse. It was really good, I have always loved the restaurants were they cook in front of you and Jonas actually liked watching the guy cook. (for the most part) Finally we all came back to our house for dessert and gifts! It was a good day! Thank you to everyone that made it special

FINALLY!!!

I have been back since Tuesday and when I came home my internet was down!!! It has been just awful. I was so excited to write about my trip and it has been torture. For you as well I am sure:) As you can see we are back up and running so without further ado…here are some pics from my trip.

The trip started out a bit rough, our flight got delayed til the next morning, they lost our luggage, all that bad stuff, my sister and I actually had to buy a dress for the wedding like 2 hours before it started. That was a bit crazy but it all worked out and we had a great time!

My cousin’s wedding was on Friday. It was a beautiful wedding and for me the best part of any wedding is the food and let me tell you the food was ridiculous. They had bacon wrapped scallops, what more do I need to say!

This was the attendant table…huge! They had something like 14 people in the wedding party!!

Ok this is proof that we had a good time. It is rare to see my dad laugh THIS hard:)

 

The next day we went to see my Aunt Karen to celebrate my cousin’s daughter, Chelsea’s 3rd birthday. It was so nice to see everybody (it really doesn’t happen enough!) and Jonas got to meet all of my Aunt’s grandbabies and there are lots of um’! It was a fun day and I can’t wait for our next visit!! Here is a pic of the birthday girl fishing for prizes in the pool.

I was also able to get in a quick visit with my good friend Lora. We have been friends since college and we don’t get to see each other much so I was so grateful that they made the trip over to see me:)

 Jonas also got to hang out with my cousin Mike’s little guy Steven I don’t have any of the 2 of them together but here’s one of Steven. Isn’t he a cutie??!!

It was a great week! And when I got back, the week got even better because my good friend Katie had her little girl and I got to hold her on Wednesday! She is so tiny and perfect and I can’t wait to hold her some more!!!

Today is Brian’s 37th Birthday…he is so old!! We had a big family birthday celebration at the beach. It was the perfect day for it and of course I have plenty of photos to share although I didn’t get any of the birthday boy..oops!

This one is from Saturday night. Since we were having a big family thing on Sunday Brian and I celebrated with just the 3 of us on Saturday night. We had sushi, brownie cheesecake (yum!) and played with Brian’s birthday present which was the Nintendo Wii (It is so fun!!)
