Weekly Poll

So according to last weeks poll most of you would love to be filmed as long as they provide maid service! I would have to agree. It seems to me that jon & kate have been going on more and more vacations every season and I am guessing it can’t be cheap to take all those kids on vaca, if you know what I mean! I wouldn’t mind free vacations!!!!!

Anyway on to this weeks poll! I have been loving the weather lately. I love taking jonas to the park without sweating to death or needing sunscreen. I love light sweaters and wearing jeans with flip flops! I would have to say that fall is my FAVORITE season so I wondered what yours was….

Thanks to all who participated in last weeks poll! It turned out to be pretty even with regards to how people feel about Kate. I would have to say that sometimes I think she is a bit overly controlling but on the other hand I have no idea what it would be like to raise 8 kids so I may be really controlling too! I also don’t know what it would be like to have cameras on you like that which brings us to our next poll (did you like that nice segway??)

Not a real cook.

I was watching Jon & Kate plus 8 the other night and it was the episode where Jon made dinner and Kate said “your not a real cook if you have to follow a recipe” and I guess she was right because I attempted to make the recipe I listed in my weekly menu plan brown sugar chicken and it didn’t go so well. I followed the directions to a tee and that’s where I went wrong because the directions stated to cook the breast on low for 6 – 8hrs. First of all 6-8 hrs is a huge window I mean chicken cooked for 6 hours as apposed to 8 hrs is going to taste very different and second of all I had my doubts about cooking boneless breasts for even 4 hours in a crock pot but even with my doubts I decided that I should just follow the directions because obviously whoever posted this recipe must have made it and enjoyed it. Needless to say it was dry as could be, I mean not even edible. I guess a real cook would have followed their instincts. Anyway if you happen to read my blog and thought about making this…don’t! I will say the sauce was good so maybe just make the sauce as a marinade.
