Love Week – the finale

 If you haven’t guessed it already…it is of course MY HUSBAND!! I love him dearly.

I love him because he truelly knows the meaning of partnership.

I love him because he is a playful father to our son.

I love him because he can dish it but he can’t take it (I just think it’s funny)

I love him because he has so much trivial knowledge that actually comes in handy at the weirdest times.

I love him because when he is excited EVERYBODY knows it.

I love him because he loves me!

Love Week – Day 3

 I know I have mentioned this before but what kind of love week would this be if I didn’t talk about THE OFFICE!! It brings a smile to my face every thursday night no matter how my day has been. Here is a little taste of why I love it!

ps. Have you ever noticed how good the camera work is on the show. I seriously think that it has a huge effect on the humor of the scene’s…well for me anyway.

I love food but apparently not has much as my son!!

the cats!

When I married my husband he came with 2 cats, stuart and simon. Stuart is the mean one he is just not nice at all except to my husband which makes it even more annoying. He has literally hissed at and scratched guests in our home. So I have completely written him off, we don’t speak at all! The other one, Simon, is a different story I used to feel the same way about him that I do Stuart before Jonas came along. They both have their claws so they ruin and I mean ruin things, which is why I didn’t like either of them but I sort of developed this whole love – hate relationship with Simon. Hate, because well he has ruined valuable things with his claws and love, because he is probably the MOST tolerant cat I have ever been around. Jonas can do basically anything to this cat and he just doesn’t care. If you are going to have cats and children this is the kind of cat you want to have!! Anyway I have noticed lately that Jonas has adopted my whole love – hate relationship for Simon as well.

a different kind of love ♥

I am warning you not to read this post if you have  a weak stomach because its going to be a little gross.

Everyone always tells you that they can’t describe the kind of love you have for your children. They always say its just different than anything else and that you’ll understand when you have your own. Well last night was a perfect example of this! It was about 11:30 and I was almost asleep when I heard a strange sound coming from Jonas’ room. Naturally I went in to check on him. It was pitch black and all I could make out was him standing in the crib coughing with his hands up for me to pick him up. I could sense something was wrong so I picked him up which is when he decided to vomit all over me!! We are talking rancid smelling, curdled vomit all over me!!! (told you it was gross) I wanted to toss him to the ground and jump in the shower immediately but he was crying and shaking and scared of what was happening so there was no way I was going to let him go even though I was in the midst of the most disgusting experience of my life! We eventually got cleaned up and after a few more unpleasant episodes we made it through the night. Anyway the whole experience made me think about how different my love is for this child in comparison to any other relationships I have. I mean if my husband had awoken in the middle of the night and threw up all over me I am pretty sure I would have had a VERY different reaction!!! (still love you though hun:)
